Meet Ram, the farmer behind Sri Radha Mohan Dairy Farm

When people ask me where PYAAS really comes from, I do not answer with a slogan. I answer with a place: Sri Radha Mohan Dairy Farm in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. And I answer with a person: Ram, the farmer who runs it. This is the farm the whole idea of PYAAS grew around, and Ram is the reason I stopped believing dairy had to be anonymous.

A real place, a named herd

Sri Radha Mohan Dairy Farm is home to a herd of 76 cows, Holstein Friesian and Sahiwal, producing around 575 litres a day. The milking is done by machine to keep every step clean and consistent, and the cows are fed and cared for on the farm itself. None of that is unusual for a good farm. What is unusual is that we are willing to tell you all of it, and put Ram’s name next to it.

Why the farmer’s name matters

Most milk in India is pooled from countless farms and mixed, until no one, not even the brand, can tell you who produced a single litre. The farmer disappears. I think that disappearance is the real problem in Indian dairy. When you know it is Ram’s farm behind your A2 Bilona ghee, the relationship changes. There is a person who is proud of the work, and a person who is answerable if something is wrong.

From Ram’s farm to your kitchen

Today, the A2 Bilona cow ghee made from this farm is live and shipping across India. Our fresh A2 milk is still pre-launch, arriving in Lucknow from August 2026, and it will carry the same promise: the farm, the farmer, and that batch’s quality record on a QR code you can scan.
