How to read it

Four numbers, in plain words.

  • Fat

    How much cream

    Our pack promises at least 4.5%. We never skim or adjust it, so it changes a little day to day. The day’s actual is on the report.

  • SNF

    Solids not fat

    The protein, sugar and minerals in milk. At least 8.5%. Water added to milk shows up here first, as a lower number.

  • 4 °C

    Kept cold

    Chilled within half an hour of milking and kept cold to your door. Cold milk stays fresh longer.

  • None

    Adulteration

    Checked for common adulterants at collection. Anything found, and the batch is not packed.

Who tests

Tested before it moves. Published for every batch.

At collection, every morning

The PYAAS team tests every collection at the farm for fat, SNF and adulteration markers, and logs the temperature. The result goes straight onto that batch's Milk Passport.

An accredited lab will test samples independently of us. We'll name it here, with its accreditation, and link its reports.

Is the report on this page real?

No, it’s an example to show what you’ll see. Your own pack’s code opens the real record for that batch in the PYAAS app.

What happens if a batch fails?

It isn’t packed, so it never reaches you. The farm is told the same morning.

Do Parag packs have a Milk Passport?

No. Parag carries the Lucknow milk union’s own seal and records. The Milk Passport is on PYAAS packs.
